AKSDO Khangabok beat YPHU Lalambung by 113 runs to proceed into the semi final of the 3rd MNCA U-16 Boy's Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy 2021-22 played at Heinoupok Ground, Imphal West.
The third quarter final saw, YPHU opted to field first after winning the toss, where AKSDO batsman made a decent start with Bishorjit Mangang getting 20 runs while M Albert got 19 runs to made 145 runs for 10 wickets from 29 overs. Chingsomba contributed 13 runs, L Bungocha hit 19 runs and L Nirash came up with 15 runs to the team total.
YPHU bowler Prince Kumar was the most effective one claiming 4 wickets while Birbal Irom bagged 2 wickets, Bishworaj, Rishi Sharma and Irom Sunny got 1 wickets each.
YPHU batsman in reply could make 32 runs for 10 wickets from 12.2 overs. None of the batsmen crossed double figure mark with Bisworaj getting 6 runs. AKSDO bowler L Nirash took 3 wickets for 13 runs while Sanayai, Chingsomba Mocha and S. Kaiku took 1 wickets each. Later Laishram Nirash was declared the Man of the Match for his 15 runs and 3 wickets haul.
In the last quarter final on Tuesday, RCA will take on ESU Wangkhei to determine the fourth semi finalist.
