The Department of Sports, Manipur University has selected eleven athletes to represent Manipur University in the East Zone Inter University Athletic (M&W) to be held at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KITT), Bhubaneshwar from December 26-29, 2023.
The women athletes in the squad are H Bhumeshwory of Biramangol College, T Russia Chanu of KP College while the male athletes are N Alex, S Dhanajit Meitei, L Diya of Kha Manipur College, N William Singh, N Manikhomba of N Birahari College, Kh Joychandra Singh of Regional College, Kingson Maimon of Thoubal College, Kh Ritukumar of Kumbi College and O Alson Singh of Manipur University.
In the meantime, the MU has also picked twenty-five archers including twelve women to represent Manipur University in the North East Zone Inter University Archery (M&W) Championship 2023-24 to be held at Punjabi University, Patiala from December 23-26, 2023.
The MU authorities also announced seven archers on the reserve lists for the meet.
