Mt Zion beat Little Master to collect full points

Mt Zion Senior Secondary School, Senapati upset Little Master English Higher Secondary School, Imphal West by a solitary goal in the U-14 Boys State Inter School Subroto Mukherjee Tournament organised by YAS Manipur at Langjing Turf, Imphal West.

Veithraio scripted the lone goal victory for Mt Zion School in the second half play of 49 minute to collect full points. Little Master players Mangal, Maipaksana and Mt Zion player Atheli got yellow cards in the match for rough tackles.

In the other matches, Bukpi Government High School, Pherzawl got the better of Kamjong High School by a solitary goal with Jangginlen fetching the all important goal in the 37th minute of the play. Pherzawl goal scorer Jangginlen and Kamjong player Khanshok received yellow cards in the match.

Kinship High School, Churachandpur blanked Rk Sanatombi Vidyalaya, Jiribam by 3-0 goals with Lalkauplien, Satmilun and Tilgunmang scoring a goal each while Diana English School, Imphal East and Siroi Government High School shared a point each from a goalless draw.

As for the U-17 Boys category, TG English School, Bishnupur beat Bukpi Government High School, Pherzawl by 4-1 goals. Suraj Wangkhem scored a hattrick of goals for Bishnupue while teammates Th Sanathoi got one goal.

Pherzawl player A Tom Joseph conceded a goal.

CT Higher Secondary School, Imphal West and Heirok Higher Secondary School, Thoubal shared a point each after both team ended their match in a goalless draw while Seikhor Government High School, Ukhrul thrashed Senapati High School by 9-0 goals and St Peter Higher Secondary School, Chandel beat Rk Sanatombi School, Jiribam by 4-1 goals to garner full points.

AMFA inter district transfer, loan of players

Twenty-three players have applied for inter-district transfer/loan the season 2022-23 at All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) temporary office at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Five players each have sought their transfer to FC Lamjao, Kakching and AMOFA Moirang; three players to TRAU Imphal West; two players each to Neroca FC Imphal East, KRYPSA Imphal West and YPHU Imphal West; one players each to KSC Sadar Hills, MYSC Chandel, USA Imphal East and DM Rao, Imphal West.

Inter Club Transfer: Six players have sought their transfer during the Inter Club Transfer/Loan for the season 2022-23 of Imphal East District Football Association.

Bogimayum Imtiyas of SSC Porompat, Md Musha Shah of Neroca FC have sought their transfer to PYA while Y Sobha of NESU Porompat to USA, S Borish of Neroca FC to Poloi FC, N Lawrence of RAU to Neroca FC and Sovamani SP of KIYC to XI Star Sporting Union.

Kakching transfer

Four players have applied to DSA Kakching for Inter Club Transfer/Loan for the season 2022-23. Rustam Singh of FSC Kakching, Meghraj Singh of JA Kakching sought their transfer to KFC Kakching while Birendrakumar RFC Wabagai and Th Krishnadas of DYA Elangkhangpokpi have applied to LMLCC Langmeidong.

Club officials of Imphal East DFA call for patch up

Officials of the Super Division clubs of Imphal East District Football Association has called upon All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) and Imphal East district FA to patch up the conflict and find an amicable way to solve the present impasse over the suspension of the latter, to have a smooth football calendar for the season.

The suspension of the Imphal East District Football Association by AMFA has left the Club officials perturbed and confused as to whether the football calendar for the season will be followed. On the other hand, the AMFA has given tentative dates for the start of the Super Division League and has fixed a Manager Meeting of the participating team.

At the same time, the Imphal East District Football Association newly elected Executive Member, under the supervision of Registrar of Societies, has fixed meetings of its affiliated Club officials in preparation for the holding of Super Division League, as well. This has left many club officials in a fix as to whom to attend or adhere to their responses.
