Manipur Police Sports Club marched into the semi-final of the 22nd Senior Men's State Level Volleyball Tournament 2023 beating KYLSC Kachikhul by 3-1 sets. The event is organised by All Manipur Volleyball Association at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
MPSC produced great energy in the first set, hammering their way with 25-12 points. But KYLSC rose up in the second set and gave a hard time to MPSC but the latter managed a narrow win by 25-22 point to take 2-0 lead.
Taking a hard stance in the third game, KYLSC powered back with accurate smashing to take it by 25-21 points. But in the fourth set, it was MPSC who raced up with good blocks and found the gaps to claim it by 25-17 points, to move into the semi-final.
AMIMYDO Mayang Imphal will play against TRYVC Kamjong, while NSU Imphal will take on SDVA Senapati and YMDO Heirangoithong will face NYVA Naorem in the remaining quarter final matches.
