Cyclone Thangmeiband scored a 23 runs victory over Napsa Kha Imphal in the 9th T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2022 played at Oriental College and Model Higher Secondary School Ground, Imphal West.

Cyclone top order batsman clicked with bat today with Sachi hitting 39 runs off 41 balls while Rohindro got 29 runs from 25 balls and Thoithoi contributed 23 runs, to put up 123 runs for 5 wickets from 20 overs.

Ibobi Singh was picked among the Napsa bowlers as took 2 wickets while Simon, Premananda and Bhogendro fetched 1 wickets each.

Chasing the target, Napsa batsman failed to handle the pressure but Ibobi Singh alone could make his stance hitting 41 runs from 48 balls while Simon made 17 runs, to make 100 runs for 8 wickets from 20 overs.

Cyclone bowler Rohindro, Tiken grabbed 3 wickets each while Surjit and Robindro got 1 wicket each. Man of the Match award was handed to Ph Rohindro of Cyclone Thangmeiband for his 29 runs and 3 wickets.
