Manipur kickboxers had to contend with the Runners Up title in the senior category of the Wako India National Kickboxing Championship 2023 held at PL Roy Indoor Stadium, Sealdah, Kolkata from August 18-21, 2023.

Manipur picked up an overall 29 Gold, 8 Silver and 4 Bronze medals in the Championship. In the senior category, Manipur managed 12 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze for the 2nd Runners Up title.
