Manipur registers first victory against Arunachal Pradesh by 51 runs in Senior Women Cricket

Manipur registered 51 runs wins against Arunachal Pradesh in the Senior Women's One Day League 2021-22, played at Eden Garden, Kolkata.

Making a winning win after two consecutive losses, Manipur batted sensibly with opener Chingkhei M hitting 50 runs off 109 balls to steer her team to 167 runs for 10 wickets from 49.1 overs.

Skipper Ganga got 17 runs while Rebita Devi made 21 runs and Milan contributed 13 runs to Manipur total.

Arunachal Pradesh bowler Shivi Yadav claimed 3 wickets while Adam and Mai Mekh bagged 2 wickets each.

Arunachal Pradesh batsman Nabam Yapu's hard hitting effort of unbeaten 56 runs from 100 balls went in vain as they were bundled out for 116 runs for 10 wickets from 50 overs.

For the Manipur bowler, Kiranbala H fetched 4 wickets while Chingkhei M took 2 wickets and Milan, Ganga and Monica chip in with 1 wicket for the victory on Sunday.
