Taking the crease, Nagaland batsman Aloto Sumi took a hard stance, hitting 41 runs from 57 balls while Olemjung got 21 runs to post 149 runs for 10 wickets from 49.2 overs.

Kaiku proved effective for Manipur, claiming 4 wickets for 58 runs from 16 overs while Danish fetched 3 wickets for 39 runs.

In reply to Nagaland first innings, Manipur opener Donba struck 32 runs while middle order batsman Rain made 38 runs and Naesh contributed 29 runs to post 179 runs for 10 wickets from 65.2 overs. Nagaland bowler Dipansu bagged 5 wickets for 42 runs from 16 overs.

Nagaland, in their second innings, made a messy start and managed to make 58 runs for 10 wickets from 23.1 overs with Aloto Sumi making 25 runs. Manipur bowlers Rain and Bisal took 3 wickets while Danish and Kaiku fetched 2 wickets each.

Manipur easily surpassed the target with Binson scoring 7 runs while skipper Sougaijam made 22 runs to cross the required rate in 8.3 overs for the loss of 1 wicket for the victory
