Manipur Thang-Ta team clinched the Champion title of the XXIX National Sub-Junior & Senior Thang-Ta Championship 2023 hosted by Jharkhand Thang-Ta Association at the Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, Ranchi in Jharkhand.

The event was held from November 24-26.
The Manipur team grabbed 56 medals comprising 41 Golds, 10 Silvers and 5 Bronzes to gain 287.3 points for the top spot.

Jammu & Kashmir Thang-Ta Association took the Runners-Up title bagging 12 Gold,18 Silver and 27 Bronze medals for 145.8 points while Assam Thang-Ta Association settled for the third spot with 14 Golds, 17 Silvers and 17 Silvers for 146 points.
Around 615 players from 21 Thang-Ta Associations of the country took part in the 3-day competition.
