Manipur bag Team Champion title of 28th National Thang-Ta Championship 2022

Jammu and Kashmir bagged the Runners Up title bagging 17 Gold, 19 Silver and 9 Bronze medals while Haryana got the third place picking up 7 Gold, 12 Silver and 11 Bronze medals.

Manipur lifted the Team Champion title claiming 38 Gold, 8 Silver and 5 Bronze medals in the XXVIII National Sub Junior & Senior Thang-Ta Championship 2022 held at CSI Hall, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.  

The championship organised by the Tamil Nadu Thang-Ta Association from February 1-3 2023 under the Thang-Ta Federation of India saw Jammu and Kashmir taking the Runners Up title bagging 17 Gold, 19 Silver and 9 Bronze medals while Haryana got the third place picking up 7 Gold, 12 Silver and 11 Bronze medals.

The Thang-Haibi and Khonglon-Khutlon for Sub Junior Boys saw Manipur making a sweep of the medals claiming 10 Gold medals while one gold medal went to Jammu and Kashmir with Milad Shahid flourishing in the Senior Men category of Thang-Haibi.

Manipur player Th Lembisana Devi of Manipur was adjudged the Best Fighter among the girls in the championship.

As for the Best Fighter among boys, Owais Ahmad of Jammu and Kashmir took the title.
