Linthoingambi Kangjei Lup beat Laman Polo Club, Iroisemba by 10-1 goals in the opening match of the 1st State Women's Polo Tournament 2022 organised by Manipur Horse Riding & Polo Association at Manipur Pony Breeding Farm, Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai.
The knockout format of the tournament saw Linthoingambi Kangjei Lup dominating the match right from the start till the fourth chukker with skipper Kh. Habe striking five goals while Kh Deventy scoring four goals and O Elizabeth chipping in with a goal. The lone goal for Laman Polo Club was scored by Luckmish.
37th Men's Polo: Chingkheihunba Polo Club(A) Kongpal thrashed MPSC(A) by 8-0 goals to sails into the pre-quarter final of the 37th Men's State Level Polo Tournament 2022 organised by All Manipur Polo Association at Iroisemba Kangjeibung, Imphal West.
O Rozer scored four goals while Th Kaoba and L Thomson fetched two goals each for Chingkheihunba team.
In another match, K&MM Riding School, Singjamei beat Khuman Polo Club, Mayang Imphal by 7-1 goals. W Johny and Ch Ajit scored three goals each while O Seitajit pick up one goal for K&MM Riding School.
The lone goal for Khuman was fetched by O Ningthemjao.
