In the first semi final, KLASA Keinou seems clearly the winner of the match as they played more cautiously and planned their attack well against the Sagolband United team. Taking their time in the game, KLASA Keinou came up with the game changing goal when Lunminlen Haokip, broke free to push home the opening goal just before the first half whistle in 45 minute for the lead.

Sagolband United, who had a harrowing run in the game, failed to get anywhere near the equaliser, bringing more frustration in their ranks.

KLASA Keinou in a hurried manner consolidated their position in the game with Lunminlen Haokip, yet again proving his mettle to volley home his team second goal in 50 minute, to dominate the proceedings.

However, in a last minute climax, Sagolband United pulled up all their reserve energy and managed to get a goal from Lunggousem Kipgen in 90 plus 4 minute, which proved too late for them. Three Sagolband United players Patrick Kamei, Lunminthang, Lungousem Kipgen and KLASA players Kh Shitaljit, Dhanchandra got booked with a yellow card from referee Ph Lanthoiba.

As for the second semi final, Southern Sporting Union, Singjamei sealed the fate of UKB Churchandpur by a solitary goal win, enroute to the final.

Both teams displayed attacking play and had umpteen chances to score but luck smiled on Southern Sporting Union when L Roshan came up with the lone winning goal in 19 minute of play. The UKB team who had shown lots of promise in their earlier game, seems sloopy today and many attempts were off target.

UKB player L Jeson got a direct red card for foul in the dying moment of 90 plus 5 minute. Three SSU players S Chittanranjan, M John, L Roshan and two UKB players Lamthailal, Lanminlal received yellow cards from referee N Ibungo for dangerous play.
