Ngambom Veng had an easy 11-1 win over Chengjapao Veng in Under-15 football this Monday morning in the ongoing 18th Kangpokpi Inter Ward Tournament 2022 at Brigadier M Thomas Ground.
Three goals from Kammingou (3rd, 10th, 24th), six goals from Haogunsang (5th, 20th, 27th, 35th, 40th, 41st), Chochon (26th) and Thanggougin (45th) gave Ngambom veng a dramatic win as Ricmonlal of Chengjapao veng scored the lone goal for his ward in the 46th minutes.
In the main football, Enjakhup Veng had a narrow 1-0 win over Khupting Veng as Seigunhao scored the only goal in the 47th minutes while Sipinthei Veng had a similar narrow 2-1 win over Dr GG Crozier Mission Compound in another match. Lunsanglen (9th) and Samu (27th) score for Sipinthei veng while Janghaolun pulled back a goal for Dr GG Crozier Mission Compound in the 86th minute.
In veteran football, Sipinthei Veng had a narrow 1-0 win over Kholmun veng as Momoi scored the lone winning goal for Sipinthei veng in the 23rd minute while another veteran match between Lamdil Veng and Jonlhing Veng ended in a goalless draw.
In women's volleyball, Japhal Veng defeated Ngambom veng 4-1(18-21, 21-14, 21-15,21-19) while Kholmun Veng defeated Dr GG Crozier Mission Compound 3-0 (21-17, 21-20, 21-18).
In men's volleyball, Dr GG Crozier Mission Compound defeated Lamdil Veng 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-22) while Chengjapao Veng defeated Khupting Veng in a similar 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-18).
On Tuesday, in under-15 football, Kilkhong Veng will play Ahsijolneng Veng at 8:00 am.
In main football, Vengthah will play Lendou Veng in the second match while Kholmun Veng will play Nanglhun Veng in the fourth match.
In veteran football, Enjakhup Veng will play Dr GG Crozier Mission Compound in the first match and Ahsijolneng Veng will play Phungtin Veng in the third match.
In women's volleyball, Tintong Veng will play Moltinchan Veng (A) in the first match and Chengjapao Veng will play Moltinchan Veng (B) in the second match.
In men's volleyball, Phungtin Veng will play Vengthah in the first match and Ngambom Veng will play Japhal Veng in the second match.
