Jonlhing Veng Ward No I and Dr GG Crozier Veng Mission Compound Ward No X open their account with a win in their campaign in the ongoing 18th Kangpokpi Inter Ward Tournament 2022 at Brigadier M Thomas ground, Kangpokpi on Friday.

An own goal (OG) from Thonggunmang in the 25th minute and James’s brilliant strike in the 29th minutes gave Jonlhing veng 2-0 win over newly created Lamdil veng in the first match of main football on Friday.

In the second match, Dr GG Crozier Mission Compound overwhelmed Ahsijolneng veng 1-0 to open an account with a narrow win to devastate Ahsijolneng's campaign in the Tournament who had yet to open an account from two matches.

Paogunmang scored the lone winning goal for Dr GG Crozier veng in the 22nd minute.

Ahsijolneng Veng played the opening match of the tournament with Vengthah and ended with a goalless draw yesterday.

Tomorrow, Moltinchan Ward No XII will play Phungtin Veng Ward No XV in the first match while Tintong Ward No II will play Ngambom Ward No VIII in the second match.
