TYPOM Maohing edged past Gamnom Saparmeina Youth Club while JSFT thumped YPSC as Ekou Mulam held Phat Chomkhat Sporting Club in the ongoing KFA's Open Night Football Tournament at D Phaihel in Kangpokpi district.
In a thrilling first match, TYPOM Maohing led the game 3-0 in the first half with an early 1st minute strike from Lunjagin followed by Letjangam in the 11th minute and Kaikam in the 18th minute.
However, Gamnom Saparmeina Youth Club made a swift come back almost finding an equalizer as Khaiminthang managed to pull back a goal in the 28th minute and Dustin found the second goal in the 48th minute of the second half but despite all effort failed to find the equalizer.
In the second match, Jangkhosei's brace in the 34th and 56th minutes and Laljakap's 57th minute goal gave JSFT an easy 3-0 win over YPSC.
The third match between Ekou Mulam and Phat Chomkhat Sporting Club ended in a 1-1 draw. Benjamin scored for Ekou Mulam in the 13th minute while Paogoumang scored for Phat Chomkhat Sporting Club in the 27th minute.
