The Annual General Body meeting of Jiribam Olympic Association was held on Sunday at the office of All Jiribam Sports Association at Jiribam district, in which new office bearers were selected.
The meeting commenced with a one-minute silence tribute to late members of the association, namely Th Bibi Singh, O Mangi Meetei and L Anil Singh. The account statements of 2017 till 2022 were passed after a thorough discussion.
The meeting was attended by Jiribam Olympic Association president M Brajkanta Singh, vice president S Maniton Singh and Ksh Ashok Kumar Singh as the president and presidium members respectively.
During the meeting, the new office bearers of the association for the upcoming four years were selected. During the selection, L Ranjit Kumar Singh was selected as the president; Ch Ranjit Kumar Singh as the general secretary; and T Sanjit Singh as the treasurer.
The meeting concluded with the speech by M Brajakanta Singh extending his wishes to the newly selected office bearers, after which the attendees shared a meal together.
