The Classic Football Academy lifted the Champion title of the Imphal East District Football Association 2nd Division Football League 2021 played at YWC Thambalkhong Ground, Imphal.
In the last league match, Classic FA drubbed UPSA Pukhao by 6-2 goals margin to grab the champion title.
The first half match was an evenly fought game with both teams having scored 2-2 goals with Classic FA, making the first foray with Ganningam and Angamba finding the net. But the UPSA team bounced back strongly with Kaikhulen and Kh Raj fetching a goal each for the equalizer.
However the second half belongs to Classic FA as Wanglen was unstoppable as he ransacked UPSA defense to score four goals in a spate of 13 minutes for the victory today. Classic FA players Jetlee, Chinglensana and UPSA player Kaikhulen got a yellow card in the match for reckless fouls.
