Long distance runner H Ngaopulou of Senapati claimed the top spot of the 2nd Men Emoinu Lamshang Lamjen 2022 (Half Marathon) organised by Erat Thougal Lup, Heirangoithong under Athletic Association of Manipur.
Ngaopulou clocked 1 hour 10 minute and 9 seconds for the top spot while Somong Raman of Tangkhul Avenue bagged the second spot with 1 hour 11 minute and 28 seconds and K Bikram Meitei of Leimapokpam settle for the third spot with 1 hours 12 minute and 26 seconds. The top three runners collected Rs 25,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively as prize money.
Other runners who made it to the top ten are L Sanajaoba of Awang Sekmai, Md. Sahidur of Lilong, N Tokiyo of Pukhrambam, S. Rishan Meitei of Tejpur Awang, L Pari Meitei of Tourbung Bangla, Y. Arjit Meitei of Waiton Mamang and K. Somorjit of Yairipok.
