Swimmer S Geliso swam to a new record to win the gold medal in the 3rd National Fin Swimming Championship 2023 held at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Swimming Pool, Pune, Maharashtra.

On the last day of the meet, S Geliso Singh powered up his muscle in the 100-meter Bi Fin of the Junior Boys Group D with a new record with a timing of 0:52.99 seconds.

Budhachandra Nongthombam also came up with a silver medal in the Junior Boys Group B, 100-meter Bi Fin with a timing of 0:54.94 seconds. It can be mentioned that Budhachandra had earlier claimed a gold medal in Boys 200-meter Bi Fin and a silver medal in 50-meter Bi Fin event.

Keisham Ulen had also claimed a silver medal in the 50 meter I-F in Master VO category yesterday. The championship is being organised by the Underwater Sports Federation of India.
