Eastern Sporting Union, Wangkhei defeated Manipur Sports House by 11-4 goals in the Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial 3rd Inter Club Futsal Tournament 2023-24 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
ESU managed three wins from five matches while Manipur Sports House had just one win from five matches.
Md. Abash proved effective in the early minute as he scored the opening goal in the 8th minute and added one more in the 10th minute to open the goal floodgates. Later, M Prabin ruffled the net once more with a goal in the 12th minute.
To ease the pressure off its tail, Manipur Sports House found the opening from Th. Orbit in the 17th minute and later, Kh Nanao got two more goals in the 19th minute and 31st minute.
However, the complexion of the game completely changed when S. Rahul let loose for ESU scoring six goals in a spate of thirteen minutes and PM Imtiyas and N. Sanathoi fetching a goal each to make 11 goals. Manipur Sports House got one more goal to its coffers with Rickyson Y converting a penalty in the late hour of the second half.
Meanwhile, Neroca FC also enjoyed their third win beating Kangchup Road Young Physical & Sports Association by 4-2 goals. For the winning team, L Sushil, Md Isra Khan, N Deepak and H Leishemba each scored a goal. Neroca FC player Samuel Salam conceded an own goal.
Kangchup Road 's goal was scored by S. Dharmajoy Singh in the second half.
In the third match, the Regular Football Coaching Center, Keinou had a narrow win of 7-6 goals against Mayang Imphal United FC.
