Kimhoinei Telen Kom of Kangpokpi outpunched Ng Dolly Devi of Imphal West to moves into the semi final of the Junior Girl 46 kg in the State Level Boxing Championship 2021 for Elite Women which got underway at Boxing Ring, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

The Championship which will continue till November 30 was opened by P.Doungel(IPS) DGP Prison along with Women boxer L.Sarita Devi and others. Altogether 269 boxers including 96 female boxers are participating in the championship.

In another bout of Junior Girl 46 kg, Elangbam Thoicha Devi of Thoubal beat Esther Neipineng of Churchandpur to book her ticket to the semi final as well. L.Phonia Devi of Imphal East got a walkover point to Th.Apsara in the Junior Girls 46 kg quarter final.

As for the Men's Elite quarter final bout, Ch.Kirankumar of Imphal East in 67kg, L.Bishan of Thoubal in 67kg, Gourdutta Kh of Imphal West in 67 kg, M.Kishan Singh of Kakching in 54 kg, L.Julet of Thoubal in 54 kg, N.Amarjit of Bishnupur in 54 kg and J. Thotreimung of Ukhrul in 54 kg also moves into the semi final.
