Champ Khagempalli pulled off a 5 wickets win over WYC Thoubal Wangkhem in the 6th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2021-22.

Champ Khagempalli pulled off a 5 wickets win over WYC Thoubal Wangkhem in the 6th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2021-22 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangsangbam.

WYC opening batsman W Shamungou executed a well crafted 53 runs from 77 balls supported by middle order batsman Priyobrata M who made 31 runs to put up 178 runs for 7 wickets from 37 overs. T Tomba remained not out with 50 runs from 33 balls. Champ bowlers L Ansh and Nitesh Sedai claimed 3 wickets each.

Champ Khagempalli reached the target in 34.5 overs for the loss of 5 wickets with S Shankar getting 54 runs from 39 balls while Nitesh Sedai got 55 runs from 49 balls for the team victory. L Johny contributed 28 runs. WYC bowlers H Biteshwor bagged 2 wickets while W Laksmon and Mangi Sharma took 1 wickets each.

Later, Champ batsman Nitesh Sedai was declared the Man of the Match for his 55 runs knock and 3 wickets haul.
