Eight bodybuilders including four women have been selected to represent India in 54th Asian Bodybuilding and Sports Championship 2022 and 13th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2022.
The All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBA) fielded nine bodybuilders during the trial selection held at Himachal Pradesh from May 21-22 where eight have found place in the Indian team.

The eight bodybuilders are Mangaal Arambam in Open category of Men's Sports Physique and Fitness Physique; Kh Sushilkumar in 75kg below; Chingkheinganba A in 75kg above in Junior Bodybuilding; Dinesh Leitanthem in 75 kg Senior Bodybuilding;
Zenika Naorem in Open category of Junior Women Model Physique; Solimla Jajo and Solan Jajo in Open category of Senior Women Model Physique and Ch Karishma Chanu in 55kg below in Women Bodybuilding, according to general secretary AMBBA Y Sunanta.
