Classic Football Academy, Chingmeirong continued to take the limelight as they thrashed Eastern Sporting Union by 9-1 goals to record their fourth win in the Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial 3rd Inter Club Futsal Tournament 2023-24 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
It was an easy win for the Classic FA team as they took the strike as early as in the 6th minute from S Robert Singh for the lead and Chuingampou Kamei adding in the 11th minute while the ever dependable striker Ganningam Malangmei struck the third goal in the 18th minute to post 3-0 lead in first half.
ESU team, who were trampled upon by the fast pace play of the Classic FA, found themselves in knee deep trouble as N. Renedy came up with a hat trick (26th, 34th, 35th) while Chuingampou Kamei got another goal in the 34th minute and S. Robert Singh in the 39th minute and Ganningam Malangmei delivered the ninth goal in the 39th minute.
The lone goal for Eastern Sporting Union was made by Md Abash in the 37th minute of the match.
In the other matches, Kangchup Road Young Physical & Sports Association pulled off their first win beating Regular Football Coaching Center by 7-3 goals while Neroca FC produced their second win beating Manipur Sports House by 13-1 goals.
