Classic FA beat KRYPSA by 6-0 goals in Arunkumar Futsal 2023-24

Classic FA, who is leading the pack in the tournament, stands a good chance to represent Manipur in the Futsal Tournament organised by the AIFF.

Classic Football Academy showed its supremacy thrashing Kangchup Road Young Physical & Sports Association by 6-0 goals in the Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial 3rd Inter Club Futsal Tournament 2023-24 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong. 

Classic FA, who is leading the pack in the tournament, stands a good chance to represent Manipur in the Futsal Tournament organised by the AIFF.

Classic FA forward Ganningam Malangmei, who is shaping up as a great strike force, did not let down his team as he slammed home three goals quite early in the 4th, 12th and 13th minutes to bring up his hat trick goal. Later N. Renedy (16th) and S. Sachin (18th) struck a goal each to enjoy the first half with 5-0 goals.

Kangchup Road made several attempts at the goals but fell short to hit the target, either saved by the keeper or feeble shots. Instead, Classic FA made life more miserable for their opponent when Chuingampou Kamei fetched the winning goal in the 24th minute.

Kangchup Road, despite getting burdened by goals, got more frustrated when skipper Nimaichand Angom was sent off with a red card in the 36th minute from double caution.

Meanwhile, Eastern Sporting Union put up a brave face beating Sang-Gai Football School, Angtha by 3-1 goals. K. Danesh scored the opening goal for the ESU team while M. Prabin struck twice to consolidate the score to 3-0 goals.

The lone goal for Sang-Gai FS was fetched by Thoiba K in the second half.

In another match, Mayang Imphal United FC outplayed Naoton Football Academy by 6-2 goals. Gunajit scored a hattrick while Th. Rabichandra fetched two goals and L. Rooney made one goal for the Mayang Imphal team.

As for Naoton FA, Paliba L and Th Majaibungo brought up a goal each. There will be no match on Friday owing to bandh.
