Maibam Binita Chanu raced her way to win gold in the Junior Girls category of State Aquathlon Championship 2021 organised by Triathletes United of Manipur under the aegis of Triathlon Association of Manipur held at Shyampukhri Swimming Pool, Kongba, Imphal East.
Binita Chanu clocked 43 minute and 23 seconds for the top spot while Dekalu Th Panmei bagged the silver medal with 46 minute and 11 seconds and H. Apilika Devi took the bronze medal.
In the Junior Boys, S. Athouba Meitei fetched the gold with 28 minute and 81 seconds while LVelenjit fetched the silver with 31 minute and 20 seconds and S Punshiba got the bronze medal with 32 minute and 52 seconds.
The Sub-Junior Boys have Th. Gautam getting the gold while L Lanchenba fetching the silver and Suranjoy P and Belchrish Kh sharing the bronze medals. While in the Sub-Junior Girls, M Anju claimed the gold while N Nelsi and Gaitri Th fetch the silver and bronze medals.
As for the Senior Mens, S Naocha took the gold while Rk Robert and Ksh Anand grabbed silver and bronze medals while in the Senior Women category, Chingkholleima H took gold and M Priyashwori collect the silver medal.
