Premjit Huidrom/Homendra Thokchom team defeated Ksh Ravi Kumar/Suresh Meetei by set 17-21, 21-11, 21-17 at the Badminton Tournament Jiribam and bagged the championship title, while the latter scored the runner-up position.
The Badminton tournament and books and magazine distribution programme was organised by the 87 Bn CRPF Jiribam under the IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector, Imphal as part of the Civil Action Programme 2022-23 at Jiribam.
The badminton tournament and the distribution programme held at the multipurpose sports complex at Bidyanagar, Jiribam was organised under the 87 Bn CRPF commanding officer Huidrom Premjit Meetei.
The event was attended by Jiribam DC W Malemnganba Chenglei as the chief guest and Imphal DC Khumanthem Diana Devi as the guest of honour along with CMO AK Singh, 87 Bn second in command Michael Vanlalruot and T Thongkhalal as well as the members of local CSOs, clubs.
