The double pair of Rohenkumar and Alex bagged the champion title of the U-19 Boys’ Doubles title at the 67th State Open Badminton Championship 2023 which concluded at MBA Indoor Stadium, DM College University Campus.

Representing Bishnupur District Badminton Association, H Rohenkumar Singh and his partner RK Alex overcame Borish Salam of IWDBA and Brikson Singh L of BDBA by 21-19 and 21-16 points for the champion title.
It is worth mentioning that young shuttler Leonie Tayenjam of Imphal West District Badminton Association had emerged as the best upcoming player, fetching four gold medals from four events. Altogether fifty-four players from eleven districts competed in 26 events during the competition.
