All Moirang Football Association edge past Angtha FC by 2-1 goals in the 2nd AMFA Cup 2022 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.

It was a high voltage match as players rubbed shoulders to shoulders to take a grip in the match, resulting in Angtha FC player Somokanta being sent off with a red card in the second half while seven yellow cards were shown by referee HI Atlee to bring order in the game.

Both teams were raring to go from the first whistle and despite the shoving and wrangling among the players, the All Moirang Football Association managed to deliver in the 37th minute of the game when Hemam Samson fetched the opening goal to enjoy the first half play.

With Angtha FC swarming out for the equaliser in the second half, All Moirang team once again, stole the show as they snake through the defence lapses of its opponent and Hemam Samson made it to the final touches to the goal in 49th minute to tighten their grip in the match.

But despite the drawbacks, Angtha FC continued their offensive and after many futile attempts was finally able to run down the All Moirang team in 52nd minute when S Kaphoi netted home his team's first goal.
