The five-day AIFF 'D' Licence Course hosted by the District Sports Association, Chandel was successfully completed at Maha Union Government Higher Secondary School complex, Japhou, Chandel district.

Twenty-five aspiring coaches candidates, including two women, attended the AIFF 'D' Course, which is a mandatory course in order to pursue AFC Certificate License Courses.  

AIFF Coach Educator, Gyan Moyon imparted the training course while Mowarning Sumpi MC of DSA,Chandel was the Course Coordinator along with Th. Joyshing Monsang, Asst.General Secretary DSA, Chandel who took overall in-charge of the course.

The four-day evening football festival sessions was successfully done with the help of Pashel Blessing Anal as he sends his young children from his hostel daily.

The DSA,Chandel in an acknowledgement lauded the efforts of Coaches for their keen interest with an aim to develop football in the District. It also added that the DSA,Chandel plans to conduct Referees Recruitment cum Refreshers Course for the district very soon.
