UCC Uripok Khaidem Leikai rode on opener M Satish Kumar 64 runs knock to beat Oscar Paona Bazar by 6 wickets in the 6th MNCA Plate Tournament 2021-22 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
Oscar Paona Bazar who has been in the tight spot without any wins from four games, made a good start with Tamarjit Singh making a hurricane effort to hit 75 runs from 102 balls while Bijendro Singh got 39 runs to build up 194 runs for 7 wickets from 40 overs. Permeshor got 20 runs.
UCC bowler Th Cherry claimed 4 wickets while Shyam Kumar Ray got 2 wickets and Tomson fetched 1 wicket.
Chasing the target, UCC openers provided a good start with Moirangthem Satishkumar cracking 64 runs while H Ajitkumar hit 52 runs, to surpass the targeted total in 30.3 overs for 4 wickets, to register their second win from three matches. Roshan Das made 28 runs while Th Anson remained not out with 21 runs.
Oscar bowler N Bijendro bagged 2 wickets while Santosh and Tamarjit fetched 1 wicket each. Later UCC batsman M Satishkumar Singh was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 64 runs knock.
