As many as 47 players will represent Manipur in the forthcoming Cadet, Junior and Senior Wako India Kickboxing Championship, 2023 (Boys and Girls) slated to be held at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra Indoor Stadium in Kolkata from August 18 to 21.

Kickboxing Association of Manipur (KAM), in a release, said the selected Indian Kickboxing team left Imphal on Thursday for the championship. It also extended best wishes to the team for the championship and their future endeavours.

The officials leading the 47-member team are Manipur team manager, S Umakanta Singh; team coach (Boys) K Padameshwor Sharma; team coach (girls) O Inao Singh and referees/judges G Dijamani Sharma, L Haridas, L Jeky and Y Tala Chanu, it mentioned.
