Manipur prospers with twenty one medals including nine gold medals from six sporting events in the 37th National Games 2023 held at Goa.

Manipur bagged the highest gold medal of the day from the Wushu event claiming 6 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze while the Archery event produced 2 Gold medals, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal while Cycling events brought in 1 Gold and 1 Silver medals.

The event of Lawn Bowl, Triathlon and Canoe & Kayaking delivered one bronze medal each for Manipur.

In the Cycling event of Team Sprint 750 meter, Manipur cyclists K Rahul Singh, K Jemsh Singh, Y Rojit Singh claimed the gold medal with a timing of 46.5 seconds.  

As for the 750 meter Women Team Sprint, cyclists K Rejiya Devi, T Manorama Devi, M Sonali Chany and H Premika Devi fetched the silver with a timing of 53.3 seconds.

As on the tenth day of the game, Manipur has bagged 25 Gold, 17 Silver and 22 Bronze medal to occupy the fifth spot among the participating states.
