Life of a Dojo Master, a documentary on the story of Kung Fu master Cosmo Zimik who was born in Manipur was screened in Mumbai by Empty Hand Combat in association with Chitah Jeet Kune Do Global Sports Federation on Friday.
Cosmo Zimik came to Mumbai from USA and held a press conference with Chitah Jeet Kune Do Global Sports Federation founder Yajnesh Shetty at Karamveer Sports Club, Andheri West, Mumbai on August 8, and released the documentary film ‘Life of a Dojo Master’, a release stated.
The documentary film features a week in the life of Cosmo Zimik who was born in a remote region of Manipur and made his way to the United States, it added.
Speaking on the occasion, Yajnesh Shetty mentioned that the documentary will be an inspiration to every section of the society.
“Grandmaster Yajnesh Shetty is a renowned martial artist, founder of Chitah Jeet Kune Do Global Sports Federation, and an action instructor and personal martial-arts trainer of Bollywood artists,” it added.
The release further stated that Cosmo Zimik mentioned that the documentary will inspire and encourage everyone to take action, and leave a positive impact on everyone.
“Master Cosmo Zimik started his martial arts career in Northeast India and has travelled the world teaching others. He currently resides in Idaho, USA where his Dojo ‘Empty Hand Combat’ teaches ‘at-risk youth’ and young adults to become martial artists and help the community,” it mentioned.
