Regional Office for Health and Family Welfare, government of India senior regional director LA Singh on Monday began a three-day assessment visit at District Hospital Churachandpur and Saikot Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Churachandpur district.
During the visit, senior regional director LA Singh was accompanied by an assistant along with staff of Manipur Health Service, Churachandpur.
As part of the visit, LA Singh met the nodal officer and staff of different departments including the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP), and the IDPS as well.
The team is scheduled to visit the Community Health Centre of Singngat and Primary Health Sub Centre of Suangdoh the following day.
The team will conclude the visit on August 31 with a visit to the offices of NVBDCP, NLEP and IDPS, followed by a review meeting and gap analysis which will be held at the office of CMO of Churachandpur.
