ZUF factions reunite

Leaders of ZUF factions, namely Raitu Chawang and Jenchui Kamei signed a historic agreement on reunification.

Both the groups of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) led by Raitu Chawang and Jenchui Kamei announced that they have agreed to declare as one unified body on Thursday “under intense persuasion of the Zeliangrong CSOs.”

“Both the leaders, namely Raitu Chawang and Jenchui Kamei signed the historic agreement in the name of Almighty God, to carry forward the long standing political aspiration of Zeliangrong Community which was initiated by the great freedom fighter of India, late Rani Maa Gaidinliu,” stated a joint statement.

The joint statement was also signed by president, Zeliangrong Baudi Assam, Manipur and Nagaland, Akhang Kamei, and president, Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland, CR Zeliang.
