Three talented youths hailing from Manipur, who clinched prestigious titles at the Global Model India (GMI) Mr India 2023 in Pune, Maharashtra, were warmly welcomed at the Imphal Airport on Wednesday.
Thounaojam Yohenba, 14, from Wankhei, Imphal East, secured the title of Mister Pre-teen India 2023.
His remarkable achievement has earned him the opportunity to represent India in the “I am Model Search International 2024” scheduled in Malaysia from January 10 to 14 next year.
Jairaj Ningombam, 18, hailing from Singjamei Chingamakha, Imphal West, not only bagged the Mister Cosmopolitan India 2023 title but also received the prestigious Mister Elegant Award. Jairaj is set to represent India in the “Mister Cosmopolitan 2024” to be held in Malaysia in November next year.
Chitrakan Thoudam, 25 years, from Haobam Marak, Imphal West, claimed the coveted title of Mister Universe Tourism India 2023. Chitrakan is poised to represent India in the upcoming Mister Universe Tourism 2024, scheduled to take place in Indonesia in March.
The trio’s remarkable accomplishments not only bring pride to Manipur but also highlight their potential on the international stage.
