The Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a wreath laying ceremony on Sunday for Rfn/GD (Late) Uday Bahadur Chhetri and Rfn/GD (Late) Rudra Bahadur Chhetri of 4 Assam Rifles, stated a release issued by IGAR (South).

Rfn/GD (Late) Uday Bahadur Chhetri made the supreme sacrifice during an ambush at Imphal road, Manipur on October 1, 1958 while Rfn/GD (Late) Rudra Bahadur Chhetri sustained fatal gunshots during a brave firefight with insurgents near Tuensang (Nagaland) on October 1 1998, it stated.
