The State Central Library, Imphal on Friday announced that a two-day workshop on ‘Effective functioning of NGOs run Libraries’ sponsored by Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation (RRRLF), Kolkata will be organised from April 14 to 15 in the Auditorium Hall of the State Central Library, Imphal.

A release signed by chief librarian RK Urmila Devi notified all the NGOs/Voluntary Organisations Run Club Libraries registered in Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation, Kolkata that the Library Authority is conducting a hands on training for NGO Darpan Registration System (Recognition of Libraries) for availing Assistance under the Matching and Non-Matching Schemes of RRLF as part of the programme.  

It also requested all the representatives of NGOs/Voluntary Organisations Run Club Libraries to come and join the workshop in time.

In this regard, it is mandatory to bring Entity/NGO -PAN Card; E-mail ID; Mobile number accessible for OPs; Present Photograph of the Library along with Signboard; Registration Certificate of the NGO; PAN and Aadhaar cards of the three Executive members, it mentioned. Only one representative of NGOs is allowed and TA is admissible for the programme, it added.
