The winter hope market was made in honour of the resolute spirit of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), who are taking shelter in different places in Churachandpur district by celebrating their remarkable talents in the arts and craft and their chosen field for sustenance.

The event aims to foster the spirit of self reliance to the displaced persons by providing them a platform to market their creations so as to find a way for them to stand on their feet after facing the trauma of being displaced from their homes and also to offer them the blessings of being able to earn their basic needs, tells one of the organisers.
