Christian Education and Literature Department under Rongmei Baptist Churches Council on Friday conducted a one-day Vacation Bible School (VBS) Teachers' Orientation at Emmanuel Baptist Church complex, Tamenglong.
As many as 550 teachers from over 80 churches of Rongmei Baptist Churches Council, Zeme Baptist Association, Liangmai Naga Baptist Association-M, Inpui Naga Baptist Churches Association and catholic churches participated at the orientation.
Prominent and senior workers like Dr. Nehemiah Riamei, Evangelist, Longmai Area Churches Fellowship; Stephen Pamei, Advisor, Christian Education and Literature Department and Dr. Rathai Riamei, Associate Pastor, Town Baptist Church were the main resource persons.
Song and music were led by Emmanuel Baptist Church VBS team.
The program closed with an act of commission and benediction pronounced by Jaojianlung Riamei, Director, Christian Education and Literature Department, RBCC.
The organisers and the participants expressed their profound and immense gratitude to Emmanuel Baptist Church leaders and all members for the efficient services rendered for the day.
In his commissioning act, Jaojianlung Riamei expressed that dducating students is the highest and most important mission of the church for they are special gifts from the Lord.
He said that leading the children to their master and creator is a mandate not negligible. Investing in children is investing for the next generation which is never a waste, he added.
