Punjab National Bank Tamenglong branch Manager Kakulung S Riamei has urged all citizens to use only bank apps for transactions for safety and avoid Gpay and other apps for transaction.
He was speaking on the topic of financial security during the Christmas celebration at Zeliangrong Baptist Church on Tuesday.
He further said that if the money transaction is on bank apps, customer can rectify and refund back the money within stipulated time if something went wrong. Whereas there is no Gpay office in remote districts like Tamenglong for any grievances, he added.
He also informed that banks never ask customers for One Time Password (OTP) or ATM pin and urged all to be aware of fraud call and messages.
The Manager also mentioned the number of benefits deposit schemes provided by the bank.
The Zeliangrong Baptist Church Tamenglong under Baptist Church Union of India celebrated Christmas under the theme "God's affirmative action plan".
