UKNA leader shot dead

Self-styled camp commander of United Kuki National Army (UKNA) Thangminlien Haokip alias Hunter was reportedly shot dead near Old Nabil village in Churachandpur district on Sunday.

The UKNA had claimed responsibility for the ghastly attack on oil and gas tankers on NH 37 near Kaimai on April 16 in which one driver was badly injured and five tankers got damaged by bullets.
