Sponsored by the Universal Friendship Organisation (UFO), a five-day Cultural Holy-Day Peace Camp was kicked-off on Friday at Itham Moirang Pural in Imphal East.

The camp was inaugurated by PDA chairman and MLA L Rameshwor with the hoisting of the Eputhou Pakhangba emblem flag.

The Nongpok Pana Tengol Lakpa Loishang of the UFO was also inaugurated by the MLA.
Bar Council of Manipuri member Kh Iboyaima, founder of Bethel High School T Somorjit Meitei and founder of NASAL T Premjit Meitei attended the event as special guests and it was also attended by leaders of UFO, local clubs, Meira paibis and members from the 12 headquarters of the Eastern Division of UFO.
