UCM President Joychandra Konthoujam highlighted that the camp had been conducted with aid from medical specialists from RIMS, rural health mission and testing experts from various centres. "The camp's objective is to reach out to financially weak villagers of the State with insufficient access to medical care," he added.

He further urged the Manipur government to strictly implement rules and regulation in all state departments and stated that good policy and programmes needed to be reflected on the ground.
