Two NSCN-IM cadres were allegedly shot dead by the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) on Friday at around 1:45 AM at Rengpang under the jurisdiction of Khongsang Police station, Noney district, sources said.

As per reports, ZUF cadres allegedly shot the two cadres of NSCN-IM while they were sleeping in a house at Rengpang, 12 km south from Khongsang Police Station, the sources said.
The bodies were reportedly already taken by NSCN-IM when a team from Khongsang police station reached the spot at around 6:30 am, the sources added.
