Two active cadres of KNF (SoO group) were on Tuesday arrested from Kangpokpi bazar for allegedly demanding money from a woman and abducting a driver, police said.

As per the police, the two cadres demanded money from a woman who was carrying fish by a Maruti van and also abducted the driver. 

The arrested individuals have been identified as S/s corporal Kaikhohao Kipgen alias John, 36, s/o Jangkholam Kipgen of J Songtun village, Kangpokpi district and S/s private Ngamgouthang Sitlhou alias Jacob, 27, s/o of Seijangul Sitlhou of Wakotphai village, presently residing at Kangpokpi ward no, 4.

The two were arrested by a team of Kangpokpi Police Station led by Kangpokpi OC Inspector Henminthang Kipgen under the supervision of SP Kangpopki Karthik Malladi and additional Sp (LO) Kangpokpi Thangkhochom Haokip

A case has been registered at Kangpokpi Police Station, the police added.
