TSA lauds CM, urges to adhere to SC orders on MCSCCE 2016

TSA appreciated the state government for its proactiveness, stating that it will minimize the problems faced by the general public due to the shortage of officers in the state arising out of the long pending MCSCCE, 2016 fiasco.

The Thadou Students' Association, General Headquarters (TSA-GHQ) on Thursday lauded Chief Minister N Biren Singh for promptness in issuing offer forms to the 82 successful candidates recommended by the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC).

The candidates were recommended for the appointment to the post of MCS/MPS/SDC/MSS/EO vide department of Personnel, Government of Manipur notification No. EXAM-1/2/2022-DP-DP, dated February 22, 2023.

TSA appreciated the state government for its proactiveness, stating that it will minimize the problems faced by the general public due to the shortage of officers in the state arising out of the long pending MCSCCE, 2016 fiasco.

It also reminded the government that the re-examination was conducted in compliance with the Supreme Court’s order dated February 22, 2022 passed in SLP(C) No. 5680/2021 and requested for the strict adherence of the said order.

The order pertains to the 'continuity of service and consequential benemfits' to be given to the candidates who were appointed on the basis of results of the main examination conducted in September, 2016, and are again successful in the Re-conducted Main Examination, 2022 upon being appointed against the concerned posts', it added.
