A truck transporting cement bags from Uchathol in Jiribam district towards Imphal went missing along with its driver driver within Irang Bridge and Noney Bazar area in Tamenglong district on Sunday.

The truck (Tata-MN01-8796) carrying 360 Taj cement bags crossed Jiribam Check Post at 6.20 pm, as per sources. The missing driver has been identified as one Laimayum Romeo Sharma.
The truck was reported to be missing from within the stretch from Irang Bridge and Noney Bazar around 9 am on Sunday.

Upon receiving a report, Noney Police Station has launched a search, and it is being carried out at suspected areas till the time of filing this report.
