The occasion also provided a platform for reflection on the challenges faced by newspapers in the midst of the digital revolution.

On the occasion, AMWJU president Bijoy Kakchingtabam shed light on the struggles that newspapers encounter in this digital age. Addressing the need for a dedicated office space for the association, he urged the members to formalise their request by submitting an official letter to AMWJU.

He proposed the allocation of temporary space within the premises of the Manipur Press Club building to address this requirement. Various distinguished personalities were present at the event, adding their insights to the discussions.

General secretary of the association, L Surjit while delivering the keynote address, highlighted the important role played by newspapers and the challenges they navigate in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
